The first High Sierra BBQ took place on Tuesday, July 19th atop Selden Pass in the John Muir Wilderness. Twenty-eight bacon cheeseburgers and five veggie burgers were served. About 20 cold beers were served as well.
Trail angels... Trail magic... Mountain philanthropy... Call it what you want. The High Sierra BBQ will pop up where you least expect it and feed your face.
